Sights from Santiago, Chile

So I know I haven't updated this in a while, and I'm sorry.  I graduated from college last spring and have been in the middle of many life changes.

Anyways, in May-July of 2011, as mentioned in previous posts, I lived in Santiago, Chile for almost six weeks.  It was an amazing experience, and I wanted to share some photos of the things I saw and experienced!

As always, please do not copy these pictures without my permission.  Thank you!

Arizona Landscapes: The Southern Edition!

This is the companion piece to the previous blog post (Northern Arizona Landscapes).  While I live in northern Arizona, I go to school in southern Arizona- go Wildcats! :)  Even though they're in the same state, the landscapes are VERY different.  You'll see that in these photos, most of which are in or around Tucson.  Enjoy!

Arizona Landscapes: The Northern Edition!

I leave Chile in a week, and while I'm really sad to leave, I'm excited to see my friends and family again.  So here's a little bit of home for those who are interested, from 5,000 miles away.  This is in the northern half of the state, around where I live (in Prescott).

Springtime!

Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhh, I know, this is late because it's summer now. at least in the States.  I'm currently in Santiago, Chile, where it is WINTER! needless to say, it has been a little weird to have the seasons completely turned around...

Nevertheless, I wanted to share some photos I took this spring (back in the States, mind you- I haven't been in Chile THAT long, unfortunately).  Just a reminder: PLEASE do not take these photos for your own use without my permission!

Colorado Part 3

Here is the final batch of Colorado pictures!  I'll go ahead and caption them rather than take up too much space here at the top.

Colorado, Summer 2010: Part 2

I. Love. Colorado.

I love the mountains, and the water, and the trees... such a gorgeous state.  Don't get me wrong, I love Arizona too, but Colorado is an absolutely beautiful place to visit.  There's such diversity too, from the snow-capped Rockies to the flat-topped red mesas in the southwest to the plains in the east.

Anyways, here are some macro photos I took in my adventures around the state (namely Mount Evans, Rocky Mountain National Park, downtown Denver, and Lookout Mountain).

Colorado, Summer 2010- Mount Evans

This summer, I got to go to Colorado for the better part of a week, and I got to see an exhibit at the Denver Art Museum about Tutankhamun's tomb and the New Kingdom pharaohs.  It was incredible.  Unfortunately, I won't be sharing pictures of that as no photography was allowed in the exhibit.

Anyways, what I wanted to share photos of was some photos I took of the breathtakingly beautiful Mount Evans... 14,264 feet above sea level lends itself to some amazing pictures!
